India MD Sunil Jose quits Teradata

Sunil Jose has ended his three year stint as India head at the data and analytics company.

 

Sunil Jose has quit Teradata. 
Jose was appointed as the managing director for Teradata India in July 2014. 
We can confirm that Sunil Jose left Teradata recently to peruse an opportunity outside of the company, Teradata Corporation stated in an official statement.  
The data and analytics company empowers organizations to achieve high-impact business outcomes through analytics solutions, coupled with industry leading technology and architecture expertise. 
In his role as India MD, Jose was responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Teradata’s India business, as well as overseeing and guiding the sales and customer management, professional services, support, alliances and marketing initiatives. 
According to the company's statement, the new India leader would be announced in due time. 
Terradata  Corporation has not commented on the actual specifics of his thee year tenure with the company. However, the official statement mentioned, “We would like to thank Sunil for his exemplary leadership during his time at Teradata.” 
The statement said, “We are currently interviewing internal and external candidates to identify a suitable replacement and we will update on this matter as appropriate in due course.”

The country operations and business will continue as usual under the guidance of our regional and local leaders and we will maintain our support for our customers with the high standards that they expect and deserve from Teradata, mentioned the company’s official statement. 
Prior to joining Teradata, Sunil worked as vice president at Oracle India for over three years, managing the company's business operations, overseeing license sales, product management and sales consulting in India. 
An industry veteran with over twenty seven years of experience, Sunil was managing director at Sybase India from 2008 to 2010. Prior to joining the company, he was with IBM for nearly nine years.
