Russian price tracking website e-Katalog has posted some specifications for AMD’s new series of 2019 processors. It should be said that these specifications should be taken with a pinch of salt until officially announced but they do still look fairly believable.
AMD’s new processors, codenamed Matisse, will use the 7nm process while Intel will only be using a 10nm processor for its 2019 series. Intel has long held a general performance advantage over AMD on a core-by-core comparison but this trend could be about to reverse with these specs listed below.
Make sure you take a look at our guide on which graphics card to buy.
The new AMD processors are suggested to be announced at CES next week, but here are the rumoured specs for the series:

These are some very impressive numbers at very impressive price points, particularly so if AMD once again packages its solid air coolers with its CPUs. AMD is certainly applying the pressure in the consumer processor market, and seeing Intel’s reaction will be extremely interesting.
Take a look at our take on the battle between Intel and AMD.
AMD is also carefully following Intel's naming convention perhaps in what seems like a very direct attempt to be compared against the old rival. This speaks to the confidence that AMD has in its products moving forward which will make the next 12 months all the more exciting in the processor space.
