Wipro Records 21% Revenue Growth

With a focus on operations, the company recorded total revenues of . 375.25 billion ($7.37 billion)

Wipro has announced its financial results under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for its fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012. The company recorded total revenues of Rs. 98.69 billion ($1.94 billion) for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, an increase of 19 percent YoY. Its non-GAAP adjusted net income was Rs. 14.81 billion ($291 million), an increase of 8 percent YoY.

Commenting on the results, Azim Premji, Chairman of Wipro said, “Corporations globally are focused on leveraging technology to drive revenues and productivity. Our strategy is aligned to deliver value to our customers by partnering with them in this journey.”

The total revenues for Wipro was Rs. 375.25 billion ($7.37 billion), a 21 percent YoY increase. Suresh Senapaty, Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer of Wipro said, “Our focus on operations helped improve revenue productivity and deliver strong cash flows in a volatile environment.”

Wipro also declared a final dividend of Rs. 4 ($0.081) per share/ADS, taking the total dividend declared during the year to Rs. 6 ($0.121) per share/ADS.
